The editing job definitely added to it. The lighting effects help to add more interest. Composition-wise, I'd say that you could re-frame it so the cup was a touch more to the right rather then centered the way it is ... though not too drastically.

Certainly the first. Because in the first the light is simply amazing.
In the second the cup is in a good position but the light is awful.

Both of them actually look great

I like the coloring on the edited one, but I like how the unedited one is cropped. A combination of both of them would be wonderful.
