Rose tea by lieveheersbeestje Rose tea by lieveheersbeestje
Soft morning with some rose tea
I absolutely adore the softness of this photo, it's just so relaxing.

The placement of the roses seem perfect to me. I don't think they would look any better placed differently. The droplets of water are a really nice touch to this piece as well. The lighting in the piece is really great, and you can feel a bit of depth from the shadows of the roses.

...Are those books under the cup? I could be mistaken, but if they are, it's quite interesting. I generally associate mornings and cups of coffee with newspaper. It's just a small detail I noticed with your piece, and it doesn't take a way from the picture in anyway, just quite interesting. Though, if I'm wrong, then you can scribble out this part of the critique with your imagination. ^^

For some reason, I feel like this piece would look really neat at a different angle, or perhaps a bit wider so you could see a little more of the background. I feel like the paper you placed underneath the cup of roses is an important under liner for the meaning of this piece.

Again, such a beautiful piece. I really love the way it is composed over all. :)

This is a wonderful contrast between the pink of the roses and the stark white of the cup. It's also something different to see a book under the cup compared to the usual table that we associate cups with.

The angle of the picture is visually attractive, seeming as the focus is on both the cup and the roses. Not just on one individual item. The folds of the roses give the picture a 3D effect. Giving the picture more depth than it normally would have. The vision of the picture is unobstructed, giving a clear view of the cup and roses. Awesome job!
