This picture is very lovely. I want to explain why.
Lets start off with the color. I'm a very color oriented person so this is very important to me. The blues are a perfect indicator of the weather outside right now. But it's not that alone. I must say I love the color at the top left. It gives the picture a sense of depth for me.
Then on to the technique. For me this show you are a skilled photographer that knows what see is doing. The Depth of Field is impressive and also the amount of clarity is fantastic. Also it's good the picture has little grain. Since the darkness outside right now it can be hard to accomplish.
The overall feeling for me is just right. The frozen branches, the color and the slight bokeh make this a stunning picture!
The first thing I saw when I came on deviant was this photo and that had a lot of impact to it so I clicked on it and here I am! I've seen some photos like this already, that's why I rated it half, but I am very in love with this photo and I love your depth of field, even though you might've used some photo shop.
I think that your technique is very good, but you need a bit more creativity on the angle so I gave you 4 1/2. your vision is good, for I don't think most people see a tree and snow and think that the BEST photo here is my necklace hanging from it, so I'm happy that I found this photo, and I am now critiquing it for you. I hope you feature my critique!
Really cool. But the websites that are hidden in the picture, did you really take this and add that on, or are you lying? I'm just wondering because it has a website @ place. Is that yours or others??? But I like it.
I love the composition. The key is beautifully framed by an almost complete circle, which is very pleasing to the eye.And the top branch that is out of focus draws the eye even more to the delicate details of the key.( I really don't see why you would think that ,it's perfect) the moire I look at it the more I love the little frosty details clinging to the branches, the way you hid the chain while still keeping that vertical line and the soft pinks/purple seeping in the corners.A truly magical and mysterious image. ( I bet your fingers felt the cold)
Is there any chance you would consider making the editing available as an action for purchase?
Hi! Thank you very much for your comment! I really appreciate it. My fingers where very cold yes. I will take a look and check it out if I can make a ps action out of it, because I always edit it different if I don't use an action. Delete things with the eraser etc. That's not possible in ps actions.
